The Global Sustainability Summit (GSS) 2023 Sustainable School Program
IISD-CMI has introduced Innovative Programs on different thematic areas on Sustainability and Decarbonization for school students to share their knowledge and wisdom, on Policy Guides by providing technical support. It aims to bring the personnel and societal transformation in course of Global Warming
before it reaches catastrophic levels. Sustainable School Program is designed to celebrate the 15 years of dedicated services by IISD-CMI and its credible contributions and scale up ambitions towards the vision of India@100. Our Online Programs
National Art Exhibition
Indian Institute Of Sustainable Development (IISD) conducted a National Art Exhibition on the theme “World Pollution Day” in association with Go Sharpener on 28th November for classes 4th to 12th class. Best performers were rewarded with vouchers and certificates. 34 Students participated across 19 different schools in India. Students expressed their opinions and thoughts over World Pollution Day with creative arts.

National Mega Quiz
Indian Institute of Sustainable Development (IISD) conducted a National Mega Quiz on the theme “Soil Day” in association with Go Sharpener on 2nd December 2023 for classes 4th to 12th. Best performers were rewarded with vouchers and certificates. 182 Students across 34 schools participated in the National Mega Quiz. It was highly interactive and an interesting event where students learnt the “Soil Day” theme.
National Panel Discussion
Indian Institute of Sustainable Development (IISD) conducted a National Panel Discussion on the topic “Planet or Plastic ?” in association with Go Sharpener on 12th February 2023 for classes 4th to 12th. Best performers were rewarded with vouchers and certificates. 86 students across 27 schools participated in the Panel Discussion .We covered approximately 15 topics, The students showed maximum interest and came up with some amazing answers.
Our Offline Programs
Indian Institute Of Sustainable Development (IISD) have organized a large scale Offline Program with AME and Sports Complex, Nashik, Maharashtra; with an access to 3,500 plus School Students, One of the Largest School Campus with a gathering of highly motivated Children working towards making India a Superpower meanwhile taking care of the Planet. Indian Institute Of Sustainable Development (IISD) celebrated “International Biodiversity Day” in association with Go Sharpener on 8th May 2023 for classes 3rd to 12th, in which they were given two activities:-
Sustainable Action :-
where the students had to make their own seed paper bag or reusable bag.
Sustainable Expression :-
where students have to write a self composed poem on Indian herbs, trees, shrubs (for classes 3rd-5th), make a poster on Endangered species (for classes 6th to 8th) and do research about Cruelty-Free Makeup Brands in India, Sustainable cruelty Free Fashion Brands in India, Sustainable Food Brands in India (for classes 8th to 12th )
